Hi, I'm Maggie!

I’m the owner and baker behind XO Sugar Home Bakery, which I started in September 2023. My love for baking goes all the way back to my freshman year of high school, when I spent way too much time watching shows like Cupcake Wars and Holiday Baking Championship and dreaming of becoming one of the bakers I saw on TV. I started experimenting in the kitchen, and over the years what started as a hobby turned into a passion—and eventually, a business.

I absolutely love taking a theme or idea and turning it into something sweet, beautiful, and made just for you. Whether it’s custom sugar cookies, a birthday cake, or cupcakes for a special event, I enjoy every part of the process. Being trusted to create desserts for life’s celebrations is something I never take for granted, and it means so much to be a small part of your special moments!

XO Sugar Home Bakery operates under Texas Cottage Food Laws, allowing me to bake from my home kitchen. I hold a Food Handler's license, obtained through the completion of a comprehensive training program focusing on safe food handling practices, so you can feel confident enjoying every treat! I’m so grateful to share my homemade desserts with my local community and can’t wait to bake something special for you!
